Xterminator

Description

Xterminator is a natural, organically derived pyrethrum based insecticide with added PBO and navel oil. Designed for the control of various pests on crops of all kinds.

Contents:

• Natural Pyrethrum – 7.5g/l
• PBO – 6.8g/l
• Navel Oil – 40%

Naval oil contains terpenes of which d-limonene dominates. These terpenes are surfactants used in degreasers and soaps to break down fats. The ingredient d-limonene instantly strips away a protective wax coating from the exoskeletons of insects. By penetrating the spiracles (breathing holes), death will occur. Pyrethrum has a narcotic action on insects and the synergist PBO (piperonyl butoxide) prolongs this to death. PBO has no insecticidal effects of it’s own, simply aiding the efficacy of pyrethrin.

Directions For Use:

• 5-15ml/L Water
• Apply in the coolest part of the day
• Apply when beneficial insects are not active
• Do not apply directly before irrigation, or irrigate within two days after application.
• Repeat application after 7 days if needed

Mixing instructions:

SHAKE CONTAINER THOROUGHLY before adding to the spray tank. Use clean water with pH 6-7. Stir while adding Xterminator™ to the tank and agitate during application. Use mixture on the same day.

Warnings:

• Do not use Xterminator in aquaponics as PBO is mildly toxic to fish.
• Xterminator is toxic to soil arthropods.
• Not suitable for cannabis in the flowering phase.
• Do not use Xterminator more than 12 times a year in the same location.
• Do not mix with any alkaline (soap) product.

Certain pear cultivars and flowers have shown phytotoxicity linked to naval oil content. Conduct a test spray on your cultivar if unsure. Test to cover all eventualities regarding non compatibilities with residues of applied fertilizers, surfactants, adjuvants and other pesticide sprays. Test in the heat of the day, spray in the evening. Handle with care. Use proper gloves and eye protection when mixing. Work area must be ventilated well. During application wear proper mask. This product should be applied under supervision of a professional person. Keep away from children and uninformed persons.
