Kelp Meal

Description

Valued for it’s high amounts of readily available potassium, kelp meal is a great all round fertilizer. Containing various minerals, vitamins, amino acids and micro nutrients your plants will love. Kelp meal will also encourage beneficial microbial life.

Produced from dried ecklonia maxima and ground to a fine powder. Kelp also contains natural plant growth hormones called auxins and cytokinins. These aid in promoting healthy, vigorous growth.

High levels of potassium aid fruiting and flowering in plants. In cannabis, potassium and sulphur found in kelp can increases terpene production. Potassium aids flower density and overall yield.

Application Rates:

• Potted Plants – 1-2 Tbsp/20L substrate
• Garden – 1-2kg/30m²

For larger production purposes, soil samples should be tested prior to application. Results will determine application rates. Soil analysis should be completed after application.
