What is Rosin?
Rosin is the raw oil extracted from cannabis without the use of solvents. Only moderate heat and pressure make rosin. Rosin is usually high in cannabinoids like THC and flavour terpenes depending on the grade of plant material used. Unlike many other forms of extraction, rosin is clean of any chemical residues.
The Rosin Press
Machined from aircraft grade 7075 Aluminum, our Rosin Press is locally made. Assembled by hand, this machine can reach pressures of up to 6.5 ton. The individually controlled heated plates and pressure gauge allows for recreating a winning recipe should you have one.
We’ll provide you with the baking paper or you can bring your preferred brand. Bring the rest of the tools needed like screen bags or collection tool if you want. Don’t stress if you don’t have any of those, we’ll be happy to supply them to you at an affordable price.
Also take note that quality and yield of rosin varies according to the quality of flower or kief used. The higher the quality of flower or kief, the better the rosin. Booking is essential via info@happyharvest.co.za or 079 897 8963
