A wind speed of 1m/s is a perfect for indoor grows. If leaves are shaking and moving and wind is separating any leaves stuck together, your speed is good. Wind on plants will also strengthen stems and branches, leaving you with hardier plants. Stronger plants support more and larger fruits and flowers.

Wind through the grow improves ventilation, decreasing chances of diseases like powdery mildew. Fresh air is distributed through the grow with oscillating fans. Just as important as movement sideways through the grow, up down circulation is also key. Do this by using circulation fans pushing cooler air to the top, evenly distributing fresh air or CO2. This will also ensure temps are even throughout the canopy with reduced hotspots.
