Lens Technology

If yellow haze is in your eyes, these lenses will make you want to kiss the sky. High pressure sodium (HPS) lights distort the natural colour spectrum and emit harmful ultraviolet light. Our HPS Classic lenses balance colour under HPS lights, so your eyes can work more comfortably, more naturally, and with less strain. Designed in conjunction with Carl Zeiss Laboratories, these durable polymer lenses offer 100% UV protection. A flash silver coating attenuates light, plus it looks cool too. Spot issues like pests or nutrient deficiencies, nip them before the bud and instantly become a better grower.

Does one set of grow glasses work for all grow room lights?

No. Method Seven notch filtering technology filters out some wavelengths of light while allowing other wavelengths to pass information to the eye. Each M7 lens is a filter highly tuned to its namesake light spectrum. It’s not possible for a single lens to properly filter light for vastly different spectrums. As with filters, if the input changes, so does the output.

Frame Technology

Why Method Seven?

Grow rooms have lots of light, but it’s not broad-spectrum. Though this might be great for plants, it’s not so great for your eyes. Human eyes contain rods and cones, which need broad-spectrum light in order to perform their functions. These functions include things like focus, recognise shapes, register movement, and see colour. In a grow room environment, sunglasses make things worse by darkening all the light. You might squint less, but you still can’t see colour, and it’s even more difficult to focus. Other grow light glasses attempt to colour balance the extreme light spectrum but use cheap plastic lenses. The cheap plastic lenses usually have very poor clarity that distort light and are hazy or blurry.
