Description
Bone meal is an organic, slow release fertiliser naturally high in phosphorus and calcium. Used to aid in the flowering and fruiting of crops. Be aware that over fertilizing with amendments high in phosphorous can cause plants to have deficiencies in iron and zinc.
NPK – 3 – 15 – 0
Nitrogen – 40g/kg
Phosphorous – 100g/kg
Application Rates:
- Transplanting – 1tsp at base of planting hole
- Potted Plants – 1-2 Tbsp/20L substrate
- Garden – 2-5kg/30m2
For larger production purposes, soil samples should be tested for phosphorous levels prior to application. Results will determine application rates. Soil analysis should be completed after application.
