Atami Cocos Substrate is high-quality coco fibers, sustainably ripened, washed and buffered. This ensures an optimal growing medium. The cocos contains sufficient nutrition for the first week of the growth cycle. Afterwards water with liquid fertilizers and stimulators can be added for optimal results. Cocos has a perfect structure that retains nutritious water easily and is therefore quickly absorbed by the roots of the plant.
Atami Cocos Substrate also remains fairly light, allowing the roots to receive lots of oxygen. As a result, the plants get a healthy and strong root system and develop at a fast pace.
Chosen by a wide variety of horticulturalists, coco peat hold both water and air well and has a high cation exchange rate(CEC). This means it has the ability to provide plants with more nutrients should they be available. Cocos Substrate is suitable for use with both organic or mineral nutrients.
